Khamrada’s Hope School
Learning with a Purpose

MICRO SCHOOL
Pre-K through 12th Grade
At Khamrada’s Hope School (KHS) we provide an experiential, well-rounded, faith based education for your child. If you are inquiring about this learning environment, then there is a good possibility that you are searching for a better opportunity for your child, or a child special to you. Parents are increasingly searching for qualitative, alternative learning environments for their children, so you are not alone.

What Makes us Stand Out?
What differentiates Khamrada’s Hope School (KHS) from the traditional design is the versatile non-traditional learning environment available to every child.
At KHS our teachers focus on the learning style of each child. Students learn what works for them and can begin implementing their unique learning styles in other areas of their lives, not just school.
Housed at Cockade Stables, KHS has a school house, full kitchen, bathrooms, ourdoor arena, trails, a pond, and a 22,000 sq. ft. indoor arena for various physical activities, including physical education during inclement weather.
Classroom Critters
At KHS our eductional opportunities would not be complete without our furry and feathered friends that live here, each one serving a purpose and offering an educational opportunity that is unique only to God’s creatures! Our animals aid in the experiential learning process. Horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and a couple rabbits (that live inside the classrooms) are all part of the school experience.

How do animals help promote learning?
Students learn how to carefully handle each type of animal and communicate with them which builds skills that lead to healthier human relationships.
The equine-assisted learning activities, games, and classes aid in the learning process of ANY type of information.
Caring for the animals and meeting their needs throughout the day as they partner with us in various lessons promotes responsibility, accountability, and autonomy.
Physical contact with an animal (especially horses):
Promotes healing of the brain from any trauma
Exponentially increases the brain’s ability to process and retain new information
Builds new neural pathways that help healthier social-emotional development
