Boarding Facility Details

We have a beautifully appointed barn that gives you access to a fully covered indoor riding arena, outdoor riding arena, and a through the woods and around the pond trail ride for further enjoyment. Some of our amenities include:

  • Large Round Pen

  • Outdoor Riding Arena

  • Large Wash Station with Hot/Cold Water

  • Large Pond

    (Equine Accessible for Hydrotherapy & Play)

  • Full Feed and Tack Room

  • Classroom for hosting small meetings/events

  • Full Kitchen

  • 2 Bathrooms

Pasture Boarding:

  • AM/PM Feeding of grain and supplements/medications (provided by the owner)

  • All horses are given a top-quality orchard hay mixture which is accessible 24/7 in pasture (provided by our facility)

  • Fly Spray; fly boots; fly mask; and blanketing services provided as needed (all spray/gear to be supplied/furnished by owner)

  • Water troughs/buckets are cleaned and filled manually to ensure adequate water intake.

We have highly experienced and well-trained staff that provide around the clock care and services to every horse on the property. We are conveniently located just minutes from I-95.

**Retirement, Layover, and Medical Board Services may be available and are considered on a case by case basis.

Medical Stall Boarding:

This service is available on a case-by-case basis. We understand that when your horse is sick or injured, it can be difficult to provide their needed level of care and stall rest is not always an option. Services are open to the public, not just full-time boarders. (Prices will vary and are determined at the time of consultation) Medical Stall Board would include:

  • AM/PM Supplemental Feed (Provided by owner)

  • 24/7 Hay/Water

  • Medical Care/Medications as directed by your veteranarian (Provided by owner)

  • Walking/Arena/Roundpen turnout as needed and recommended by your veteranarian

Layover Boarding:

Are you traveling with horses along the East Coast?

Cockade Stables is accepting reservations for Layover Boarding, providing a safe and professional stop for equine travelers to stretch their legs and rest.

We are strategically located within 20 minutes of I-95, I-85, and I-295, as well as within 15 minutes from multiple hotels. Our facilities are equipped with:

  • 5 secure 12x12 stalls;

  • a large round pen;

  • and a paddock with shelter.

The amenities that layover boarders have access to include our indoor/outdoor arenas and a hot/cold water wash stall. Although we do not have hookups, ample trailer parking is available and we do allow generators to be run for the entirety of your stay.

IMPORTANT: To ensure the health of all residents and guests, we require up-to-date Coggins and Health Certifications for out-of-state travel.

All layover stays require pre-approval and booking. Availability and accommodations also function on a first-come, first-served basis.
