‘Equine Assisted Learning refers to activities done with horses geared toward experiential learning. Equine Assisted Learning activities can be used to reengage students in academic learning as well as with high risk adolescents in alternative school programs. Typically, the clients participate in an activity with the horses on the ground, and the trained facilitator guides the learning process. Rather than focusing on personal issues, the focus is on concepts and principles, as in character concepts for example.’ ¹
Amy Grieco is a Level II Equine Experiential Education (E3A) Certified Advanced Practitioner and has provided equine-assisted services and programs to the community since 2005. Her programs focus on personal development for children and adults. Some of the E3 programs that Amy provides include family relationships, parenting relationships/eduction, youth education, coaching, team building, leadership development, personal growth, child behavior, child abuse prevention, and professional development.

You’ve probably heard it said “It takes a village” and we couldn’t agree more! In our culture it is normal to stay so busy all the time that developing unhealthy habits can sneak up on you and your family. Often times these habits can result in significant issues that can negatively affect behavior as well as our mental and physical health.
Through our programs and services, we help our clients to slow down, find purpose in all things big and small, and adjust their lifestyles to build new and healthy habits that heal the body and mind.
